Location Data
- • What: Tabi accesses your device's location services to track your travels
- • How: Location data is collected automatically in the background at periodic intervals
- • Where Stored: All location data is stored locally on your device only
- • Never Shared: Your raw location data never leaves your device
Reverse Geocoding Data
- • What: We use Apple's reverse geocoding service to convert coordinates into readable city and country names
- • How: Your device sends coordinates to Apple's servers and receives location names in return
- • Apple's Role: This process is handled by Apple according to their privacy policy
- • Our Access: We only receive the city/country names, not your raw coordinates
Information We Do NOT Store or Have Access To
We do not store or have access to:
- • Your personal identity or contact information
- • Your raw GPS coordinates or precise locations
- • Your travel patterns or behavior data
- • Any data that could identify you personally
- • Analytics about your app usage
- • Advertising identifiers or tracking data

Local Storage
- • All your travel data is stored locally on your device using iOS secure storage

- • We do not maintain servers with your personal data
- • We do not backup your data to any cloud service
- • Your data travels with your device only
Data Retention
- • Data remains on your device until you delete the app or manually clear it
- • You have complete control over data retention periods
- • No data is retained on our end when you delete the app
Your Rights and Controls
Complete Control
- • Access: View all your data within the app
- • Export: Export your data in various formats anytime
- • Delete: Remove all data by deleting the app or using in-app clearing options
Location Permissions
- • You can revoke location permissions at any time in iOS Settings
- • The app will stop collecting new location data immediately
- • Previously collected data remains on your device until you delete it
Children's Privacy
Tabi does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Since all data remains on the device, we have no way to determine user age. Parents should supervise children's use of location-tracking apps.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. We will notify users of significant changes through:
